Company Location: Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel Job Description Oaks Darwin Elan Hotel are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests. Key Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.
- Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
- Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
- Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations. Shift Details Shift Details (subject to change):
- Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
- Shifts scheduled across breakfast and dinner periods Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation) Monday
- Friday: $32.31 per hour Saturday: $38.78 per hour

Sunday: $45.24 per hour Qualifications To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Positive, proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.
