Return to Country Support Officer (Darwin)

Return to Country Support Officer ARRCS are actively sourcing a Return to Country Support Officer to join their team on a full‑time basis and offers an hourly rate of $36.75
- $40.10 / hour gross base, dependent on skills and experience. Based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, this highly administrative role will see you supporting operations of the program by working with clients and their families, taking bookings and responding to general enquiries, helping with preparation of trips, and supporting the maintenance of vehicles including servicing and cleaning. You will also support the local troopy service we operate around greater Alice Springs by driving. This role would ideally suit a proactive person who is comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision, has excellent computer skills, enjoys coordinating and organizing bookings, has experience working with First Nations and cultural knowledge, and enjoys customer service. You will be the first point of contact for many of the consumers using this service. You must be able to travel to remote communities when required, with possible overnight stays. Advantages

- Demonstrated knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural values.
- Experience in the provision of support and advocacy to Aboriginal families.
- Current manual NT Driver's License.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work productively with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to respond to queries both on the phone and via email.
- Demonstrated previous experience in an administrative capacity with intermediate computer skills.
