Truck Driver (Darwin City)

Texas Contractor is currently in search of a highly experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Darwin NT. This opportunity is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65k to 80k per annum, plus super. The candidate selected for this role must be ready to commit to a two-year contract, as we are seeking individuals who are dedicated to long-term employment with our company. As the chosen candidate, you will need to have a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading and delivering concrete . It is crucial that you possess excellent communication skills, pay close attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to perform thorough vehicle checks. Appropriate training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Delivering Concrete to designated locations promptly and safely.
- Ensuring inventory accuracy and maintaining loads on delivery vehicles.
- Communicating effectively with customers and establishing a positive relationship.
- Performing routine vehicle checks to ensure proper maintenance and safety standards are met.
- Comply with load limitations to ensure safe distribution of concrete.
- Ensuring cargo security during transportation.
- Verifying picking slips and related documentation before delivery.
- Positioning vehicles for loading and unloading.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of goods. Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Truck Driver or a similar role.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying documentation.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
- Physically fit to perform acticitties that require physical strength.
