- Darwin Port We are currently on the lookout for multiple experienced and interested Maritime Security Officers to work for us in Darwin on a casual basis.
- MUST have a valid Security Licence to be considered for the role
- Rostered shifts and flexibility
- Play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of maritime security Job Description Maritime Security Officers are responsible for the delivery of high quality, customer-focused security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travelers and visitors transiting through Darwin, the tourism gateway to where living in paradise is a part of everyday life. You will be responsible for:
- Provide high-quality front-line customer service and support.
- Identify risks and resolve issues.
- Perform general maritime security guard duties, including administration tasks.
- Work effectively within a team environment.
- Handle ad hoc duties as required. Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Current First Aid certificate & CPR.
- Current MSIC license (or eligibility to apply).
- Current NT Security license.
- Availability to work 24/7 roster
- The ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments.
- Current Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Full work rights.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Professional presentation.
- Proven experience in conflict resolution.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts). Why you should work with Trident:
