Full-Time All-Round Maintenance Officer - Aged Care …, Darwin

To continue the upkeep of our facility and grounds, a new opportunity has come available for an experienced All Rounder, Maintenance Officer to join the team at Juninga Aged Care facility, located in Coconut Grove, NT. This position is being offered on a full-time basis working 38 hours per week, Monday – Friday and at a salary of $*****
- $***** / hour gross base (dependent on qualifications and experience) This role will see you undertake a range of generalist handy person duties to keep our facilities in the best condition possible. This includes handyman duties such as painting, fillers etc and grounds maintenance including mowing, wipersnipping, weeding etc. You will also provide support and guidance for external contracts who are on site to support the facility. This opportunity will suit a person who is proactive and leads by example. You will have previous experience in a maintenance or handy man setting and be able to commit to full-time hours. In addition, you will be comfortable working within an Aged Care facility and interacting respectfully with our residents. Skills & experience Previous experience in a trade/building maintenance or handy man role. Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office applications Competent in the use of hand/power tools and light machinery. Sound understanding of A/C, plumbing, electrical & fire systems. Ability to reflect on own performance and seek guidance when required. Benefits of working for us Above award hourly rate that is penalty driven.
