Defence land holdings, government portfolios, airport expansions and contractor-led developments – long-term, complex work that needs experienced oversight. Less time in the field, more time shaping outputs and mentoring others.

- Provide technical direction across Defence, government and infrastructure projects
- Support and mentor junior consultants developing their reporting capability
- Work closely with project managers and field teams to bring projects together
- Act as a key technical support to the Darwin Office Manager
- Contribute to complex site strategies and remediation approaches
- Optional exposure to Environmental Approvals / EIA work if this interests you Who You’ll Work With This is a tight Darwin team of five – a mix of contaminated land and hazardous materials specialists, supported by a broader national network. It’s a practical, delivery-focused environment where everyone knows their role and gets on with it. You’ll be working with experienced Principals, strong Hazmat operators, and junior consultants who need guidance rather than micromanagement. The culture is adaptable, low ego, and built around getting quality work out the door. Darwin itself suits people who want something different – big projects, less congestion, and a more balanced lifestyle. If you’re interstate, relocation support is there to make the move easy.
