- Design, implement, and manage the organisation's secure and resilient network infrastructure across the Northern Territory.
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems, and related network technologies.
- Align network architecture and security controls with organisational guidance and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues, implement security remediation and uplift activities, and proactively monitor network performance.
- Develop comprehensive architectural and as‑built documentation.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to support organisational safety, environmental, and quality standards. About You
- Baseline‑cleared professional with extensive experience implementing and managing complex WAN/LAN environments (MPLS, VPLS, SD‑WAN, VRFs, VLANs, VPNs) and core network protocols (BGP, OSPF, ARP, DNS, DHCP).
- Highly skilled in deploying and maintaining advanced security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, network segmentation) with robust monitoring, reporting, and secure operations capabilities.
- Proficient with Cisco technologies (FTD, routers, switches, ISE, DNAC) and industry‑recognised certifications (CCIE, CCNP, CCNA).
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a high level of technical writing proficiency.
- Experience in security architecture reviews, operational technology environments (SCADA, DCS, PLC), and comprehensive network security risk assessments.
