Senior Mechanic (Darwin)

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a variety of vehicles (cars, vans, trucks, etc.) at customer locations.
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake services, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
- Conduct more complex repairs including engine diagnostics, suspension work, battery replacements, and minor electrical repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle issues.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair needs and provide estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and customer information.
- Ensure company vehicle is stocked with necessary tools and parts.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a qualified and courteous demeanor at all times. Requirements:
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic (2+ years preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of automotive mechanic experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues on-site.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in a variety of outdoor conditions
- Trade qualification plus additional automotive certifications are required.
