Overview Gallagher Bassett (GB) is Australia and New Zealand’s premier third‑party claims administrator. We manage claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self‑insured organisations as part of Arthur J Gallagher & Co. Team Manager – NT Claims Operations Lead a energetic team that manages workers compensation claims, promoting safe and timely return‑to‑work outcomes for injured workers. How you'll make an impact
- Lead a team of Claims personnel with varying levels of experience within the workers compensation space;
- Contribute to shaping our culture through high levels of people engagement, recognising the importance of diversity and increasing our people’s satisfaction levels;
- Participate in workforce planning and recruitment activities for the function;
- Monitor service performance by establishing clear goals and expectations, tracking progress, ensuring timely feedback, providing appropriate support and recognising exceptional performance;
- Mentor your team and provide coaching and professional support to ensure they reach their full potential; analyse performance trends and implement remedial action when required;
- Promote a culture that ensures compliance with our business processes is adhered to;
- Identify areas of opportunity within your team and the business and take action to improve outcomes for our customers and people. About you
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring within a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment, or significant experience in workers compensation claims management and providing coaching;
- Knowledge of general business and administrative practices and managing cost‑effective business activities;
- Experience in managing performance through qualitative and quantitative metrics;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders;
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills;
- A strategic mindset and approach to work;
- A strong sense of team and collaboration;
