Head Bartender/supervisor Darwin City

Charlie’s of Darwin is looking for a Head Bartender / Supervisor to lead the bar team across Charlie’s Restaurant, Freddie’s Terrace and Darwin Distilling Co.

We’re an award-winning restaurant, cocktail bar and in-house distillery celebrating Territory flavours, house-distilled spirits and unforgettable hospitality. This role is perfect for someone who loves creating a buzzing atmosphere while keeping service polished, skilled and genuinely fun.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Think part cocktail curator, part floor leader, part hospitality weapon. Leading bar service across busy restaurant and terrace shifts Creating consistently high-quality cocktails with speed and attention to detail Supervising and engaging the bar team during service Working closely with management to keep service flowing smoothly Training junior bartenders and sharing product knowledge Maintaining high standards across drinks, presentation and cleanliness Managing stock, prep and end-of-night procedures Jumping onto the floor when needed and helping deliver exceptional guest experiences

Who We’re Looking For:

You know how to run a bar, read the room and keep the energy up even when the pressure’s on. Experience as a Head Bartender, Bar Supervisor or senior bartender Strong cocktail knowledge and passion for hospitality Confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment Calm, organised and proactive under pressure Excellent communicator with a positive attitude Available nights, weekends and peak season periods RSA essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
