HR Driver (Darwin)

HR Driver Darwin (NT), Australia | Req26536 Responsibilities

- Operate a 12‑tonne truck in compliance with BOC standards, regulations and policy.
- Complete daily and weekly inspections to ensure the vehicle is always fit for service, clean, presentable, and all documentation and safety equipment are up to date and in test.
- Timely delivery of paperwork and active cooperation with stakeholders.
- Cooperate with branch staff in servicing customers, completion of work, flexibility in responding to demand, and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
- Report compliance issues / out‑of‑service cylinders and conduct checks where required.
- Ensure all incidents are reported to the Branch Manager.
- Be safety‑conscious and abide by all regulations associated with the position.
- Liaise with customers in a professional manner at all times. Qualifications

- Driving experience operating a Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle with a clear driving history.
- Dangerous Goods handling certificate.
- Experience in a retail sales environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be beneficial.
- Forklift licence will be highly regarded.
