Maintenance Fitter (Darwin)

Humtty Doo Barramundi requires a Maintenance Fitter for fixed plant maintenance of farm infrastructure for barramundi farming. Essential Skills and Qualifications

- Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Fitter & Turner
- Demonstrated Fixed Plant Maintenance on commercial production facilities and food production is an advantage
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems including pumps and pipework
- Experience with food production machinery and conveyors advantageous
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with farm machinery
- Ability to work collaboratively within a small team setting
- Current HR or MR driver’s licence
- Poly Welding experience Key Responsibilities

- Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on fixed plant equipment across the farm
- Diagnose faults and perform troubleshooting for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Adhere to work health, safety and environmental regulations, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to communicate work priorities, challenges, and progress.
- Document maintenance activities and report issues or delays impacting on production Experience with the following equipment is highly regarded

- Gensets and Compressors
- Waste water systems including drum filters
- High volume Air blowers
