This is a unique chance to contribute to a community-led cancer program while working alongside a passionate, multidisciplinary team in a meaningful and impactful role.

What's the role?

As the Cancer Program Nurse, you will support cancer screening, treatment, and prevention across Maningrida and surrounding communities.

You will work closely with patients and families impacted by cancer, both locally and when accessing care in Darwin, helping to improve screening participation, treatment uptake, and completion rates.

The role involves community engagement, outreach, and education, including working with younger cohorts to promote early detection.

This Darwin-based position operates on a FIFO basis (2–3 weeks per month in Maningrida), with subsidised travel and accommodation.

The contract is 12 months with potential extension.
