As a Project Manager for the Aspire team, you will be responsible for managing small-to-medium commercial construction projects from planning through to completion. Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to Aspire’s high-quality standards. Your ability to coordinate trades, solve problems proactively, and maintain solid relationships will be essential to your success in this role. The ideal candidate will bring a trade-based background (carpentry preferred) and proven experience delivering commercial construction projects in a hands-on capacity. You will be confident managing timelines, budgets, procurement, and site activities, with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience transitioning from Site Supervisor or Site Manager roles into project management will be highly regarded, along with a practical understanding of procurement, contracts, and construction financials. As Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with programme requirements, specifications and quality standards. Working closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, you will coordinate labour, plant and materials, oversee site productivity, manage look-ahead programmes, and ensure all activities align with Aspire’s systems, procedures and project objectives. You will also play a key role in maintaining site safety, quality assurance, environmental compliance and the successful completion and handover of projects. The successful candidate will bring proven experience supervising commercial construction projects, with a strong understanding of site operations, trade coordination and construction sequencing. You will be confident managing subcontractors, monitoring programme performance and maintaining compliance with WHS requirements, quality standards and project documentation. Strong communication skills, sound decision-making ability and a proactive approach to problem-solving will be essential. Experience working within structured management systems and delivering projects in live or complex environments will be highly regarded.
