Machine Operator / Batch Plant Operator (Darwin)

About us. QCM Group are a family owned and operated construction company carrying out a large number of local and remote area projects in Darwin and surrounding areas. QCM are seeking an experienced Plant operator with experience in operating batching plants, bobcats, telehandler, excavators and tippers in local and remote locations across the NT. The applicant must have the following qualifications and experience.
- competent in operating all aspects of a 5T mini excavator
- competent in operating all aspects of a Bobcat skid steer and attachments
- competent in operating an Haulotte telehandler
- completing pre starts on machinery
- servicing machinery when required
- demonstrate protected, professional and productive behavior
- have current licenses for plant and equipment
- ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
- HR/HC license
- white card
- PF166 clearance or ability to obtain one Task and responsibilities;
- operate 5.5t/ 8t excavators
- operate bobcat skid steer including attachments
- demolition of buildings
- site clean
- construct driveways/ building pads
- strong work ethics and attention to detail
