Role Responsibilities Undertake research, analysis and evaluation of policies and issues affecting the Territory and formulate quality strategic advice from economic, regulatory and commercial perspectives. Prepare a range of high‐level documentation including ministerial and government briefings, policy advice, reports and discussion papers. Foster effective relationships across government, including representing Treasury on interdepartmental forums and intergovernmental committees. Qualifications Well‐developed knowledge of contemporary economic and/or commercial policy frameworks and processes. Demonstrated ability to apply research and analytical skills to provide sound advice on regulatory, economic, or commercial policies, strategies, proposals, and issues. Ability to develop and implement economic and/or commercial strategies and policy, think strategically, and develop cutting-edge solutions to complex problems. Highly‐developed written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical work to a general audience. Ability to work as part of a high‐performing team, manage competing deadlines and contribute to the guidance and development of less experienced staff. Ability to develop and maintain courteous professional relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives.
