Job Overview Permanent part‐time opportunity available at Westpac's Darwin branch. Bring your best‐self to connect with customers from all walks of life. Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 9am – 4.30pm Mon – Fri. This role may require covering planned and unplanned leave across other Westpac Group branches in the area; travel and flexibility are essential. Role As a Personal Banking Advisor , you'll be at the heart of our branch network, welcoming customers, engaging in meaningful conversations to uncover their needs, and providing tailored banking solutions. You will use your product knowledge to assist customers in achieving their financial goals – both in‐person and over the phone – and refer them to specialized banking teams when necessary. Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and develop strong relationships. Identify customer needs and offer appropriate banking solutions. Satisfy sales and referral targets and conduct customer calls. Handle cash transactions accurately. Cover planned and unplanned leave across other Westpac Group branches. Requirements Customer service and sales experience, ideally with a phone‐based role and experience working to targets. Resilience to remain calm while managing challenging situations. Ability to pursue sales/referral targets and call customers by phone. Proficient numerical and cash handling skills, with accuracy in financial transactions. Energetic personality and passion for helping people. Willingness to learn and adapt to recent banking procedures and technologies.
