The Prospect Humes, a leader in precast concrete solutions, is seeking a high-energy, \"hands‐on\" Production Manager to lead our Darwin operations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, ensuring a culture of safety, and delivering high-quality infrastructure products that support the growth of the Northern Territory. Core Responsibilities Safety Leadership: Update and maintain safety management systems to ensure the health and well‐being of every person on‐site. Team Development: Mentor and develop Supervisors and Leading Hands, ensuring deep technical knowledge of Humes products and fostering a culture of competency. Operational Efficiency: Execute production plans that hit business targets while maximising facility throughput and managing load‐out logistics. Quality & Compliance: Guide QA/QC staff to ensure every product meets rigorous system‐based requirements and industry standards. Financial Accountability: Manage budgets, provide accurate forecasts, and oversee monthly stocktakes with precision. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement initiatives to lean out processes and boost productivity. About You We are looking for a leader who doesn't mind getting their boots dirty and thrives in a fast‐paced industrial environment. Industry Savvy: Experience in precast concrete or a heavy‐duty related industry is highly preferred. Safety First: You don't just follow safety rules; you champion them.
