Due to growth in the Capability Lifecycle Manager (CLCM) program an exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Maintenance Planner. The Maintenance Planner is accountable to the Lead Maintenance Planner for development and proactive management of maintenance requirements across the vessel’s lifecycle – underpinning the availability of the vessels to Navy. Exciting opportunity supporting the Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessels. Position co-located with Defence, collaborating across Defence and industry to meet objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan maintenance transactions within the maintenance planning tool (AMPS7).
- Raise new tasks or modifying existing tasks in the maintenance planning workplace to support new or emergent requirements.
- Carry out data remediation for the transactional dataset.
- Enable the Australian Defence Force to execute missions effectively
- Assist in resolution of technical queries. Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Possession of a Certificate II in a relevant trade discipline (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or fabrication) is required to support technical understanding of maintenance operations and asset management.
- Minimum of two years prior relevant experience
- Working knowledge and experience of maintenance management and planning system tools and processes.
- Relevant experience in maintenance planning in a defence or other highly regulated environment.
- An ability to gather, manipulate and analyse data to support data-based decision making for internal and external reporting.
