This is a permanent role on a 2 on / 2 off rotating day and night roster.****Become a vital part of Hastings Deering’s next chapter and join our team at McArthur River Mine!** **What you’ll be doing**As a **Mechanical Supervisor** at Hastings Deering, you will:* **Lead and develop your team** – provide active management, leadership, coaching, and guidance to workshop employees and contractors while ensuring company policies and procedures are upheld.* **Drive safety and compliance** – maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring governance and compliance across all mechanical activities and installations.* **Deliver operational excellence** – ensure KPIs, targets, timeframes, and quality standards are consistently met.* **Manage major projects** – maintain single point accountability for all major mechanical works, ensuring continuity, progress, and clear communication.* **Improve performance and quality** – work closely with the team to enhance efficiency, quality assurance, and continuous improvement outcomes.* **Develop workforce capability** – create and manage a Mechanical Skills Training Matrix to build team capability and performance.**Who are we and why work with us?**Hastings Deering is proud to be one of the top 5 Caterpillar dealerships globally.
