Production Manager (Darwin)

The Opportunity Humes, a leader in precast concrete solutions, is seeking a high-energy, "hands‑on" Production Manager to lead our Darwin operations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, ensuring a culture of safety, and delivering high-quality infrastructure products that support the growth of the Northern Territory. Core Responsibilities
- Safety Leadership: Update and maintain safety management systems to ensure the health and well‑being of every person on‑site.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop Supervisors and Leading Hands, ensuring deep technical knowledge of Humes products and fostering a culture of competency.
- Operational Efficiency: Execute production plans that hit business targets while maximising facility throughput and managing load‑out logistics.
- Quality & Compliance: Guide QA/QC staff to ensure every product meets rigorous system‑based requirements and industry standards.
- Financial Accountability: Manage budgets, provide accurate forecasts, and oversee monthly stocktakes with precision.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement initiatives to lean out processes and boost productivity. About You We are looking for a leader who doesn't mind getting their boots dirty and thrives in a fast‑paced industrial setting.
