About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Advisor to join our team in the Northern Territory. This is a true generalist partnering role where you will work closely with leaders and employees across the operation, providing practical HR support and contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture. Working within a dynamic and fast‑paced mining environment, you will support a broad range of HR activities including employee relations, recruitment support, onboarding, workforce administration, policy guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Providing day‑to‑day HR advice and support to leaders and employees across a range of people matters.
- Supporting HR team members with recruitment and onboarding activities during periods of high demand.
- Assisting with employee lifecycle administration including employee variations, contract documentation, and maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems.
- Building strong working relationships with leaders and employees through the consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
- Supporting performance management, employee relations, and workforce engagement initiatives.
- Assisting with the development, review, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
- Contributing to HR projects and site-based people initiatives as required.
- Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information. Required Experience & Skills
- Degree qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a similar HR role.
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within mining, resources, construction, or another operational environment.
- Sound knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to support broader HR team activities when required.
- Current open driver’s licence and current police clearance.
