- Job Description**

**Position Summary** A Farm Hand supports the daily operations of the farm while also assisting and engaging with clients during on-farm activities. This role combines practical farm work with client support, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and productive setting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Feeding, watering, and caring for livestock
- Assisting with planting, harvesting, and general crop care
- Maintaining cleanliness of animal areas, sheds, and facilities
- Operating and maintaining basic farm equipment and tools
- Assisting clients with farm-based activities in a safe and supportive manner
- Providing guidance, supervision, and encouragement to clients while on the farm
- Supporting clients to participate in daily farm routines according to their abilities
- Monitoring safety and wellbeing of clients and reporting concerns
- Following workplace health, safety, and biosecurity procedures

**Skills & Requirements**
- Ability to support and interact respectfully with clients
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
- Willingness to perform physical and outdoor work
- Ability to follow care plans, instructions, and safety guidelines
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Previous farm or support work experience preferred but not required

**Working Conditions**
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Must be experienced in handling and riding horses
- Physically demanding tasks
- Early starts or variable hours depending on farm needs

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
