About the role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Aluminium & Steel Welder to join our team at Accolade Fencing Pty Ltd in Deception Bay, QLD. This part-time role is crucial in delivering high-quality fencing and metalwork solutions to our growing client base. As an Aluminium Welder, you will be responsible for producing top-notch welding work to support our fencing production and installation processes. What you'll be doing
- Performing aluminium welding tasks to fabricate and assemble fencing components and other metal structures
- Interpreting technical drawings and diagrams to ensure accurate welding to specification
- Conducting routine equipment checks and maintenance to optimise performance and safety
- Collaborating with the wider production team to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety and quality standards What we're looking for
- Formal qualification in welding, with demonstrated expertise in aluminium welding techniques
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an Aluminium Welder, ideally in the fencing or metal fabrication industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work from technical specifications
- Ability to read drawings, fabricate accurately, and deliver clean, straight welds
- Commitment to workplace health and safety practices
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of pool fencing standards and compliance requirements
