Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in garden installation and maintenance, a strong understanding of plants and horticultural practices, and an eye for design. You will play a key role in helping us create and maintain beautiful outdoor environments for our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities
The duties of a Landscape Gardener typically include:
• Planning and constructing gardens and landscaped environments.
• Planting and maintaining lawns, shrubs, trees, and flowers.
• Installing irrigation systems and outdoor structures (e.g., pergolas, garden beds, retaining walls).
• Pruning, fertilising, mulching, and pest management.
• Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and machinery.
• Assessing soil conditions and recommending plant species and garden designs suited to site conditions.
• Working from landscape plans and drawings to achieve desired designs.
• Liaising with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met.
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in landscape gardening, ideally within a boutique or high-end residential setting.
• Solid knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and garden design principles.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape plans.
• Competency in using a variety of gardening tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Qualifications
• Certificate III in Horticulture, Landscape Construction, or equivalent (preferred).
• Current driver’s licence (essential).
• White Card and any relevant tickets (e.g., chainsaw, excavator) are advantageous.
