Production Manager Mona Vale

Our client is a successful and rapidly expanding manufacturing organisation in the medical sector. Joining a large team of around 100 staff, this position is responsible for guiding a agile production team (40+ staff including two Production Supervisors who report directly to this role) to play a key role in the overall success of Production operations.

Working closely with Warehouse, QA and Operations teams, responsibilities include:

Implementing the company Business Plan which includes the Company Quality Goals and Objectives

Ensuring that there are adequate communication systems in place to ensure that company goals, objectives and performance are known throughout the business, from senior management to the production floor and back again

Ensuring that the Quality Management System and its policies and principles are adopted, updated and monitored within the company

Directing and delegating duties to Supervisors as required

Approving all necessary resources for the effective operation of the company

Ensuring that staff have adequate skills, resources and training to perform their job functions

Responsible for driving, supporting and maintaining the business forward through continuous improvements programmes within the business

Strategic planning

Ensuring that systems are in place to monitor and review business performance, quality, customer satisfaction and regulatory requirements

Implementing and maintaining work health and safety, social accountability and risk management systems

Ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met by the company

To be considered for this position you will be GMP trained with prior experience within a manufacturing workplace. You will be a problem solver with solid technical writing skills and computer literacy (prior experience with SAP or other ERP is preferred). Sound interpersonal, communication and numeracy skills are also required and you will be able to work independently however also work well with a team workplace, with high attention to detail.

Standard hours are Monday to Friday from 9.00am
- 5.00pm however as Production shifts start from 6.00am and run until 10.00pm, some early starts and late finishes will be required (maintaining an average 38 hour week).

Salary guide is $110,000
- $120,000 + Super.
