School Crossing Supervisor – Part‑time – Mona Vale Public School Location: Mona Vale, NSW, 2103. Employment Type Permanent part‑time Job Reference Number Responsibilities
- Supervise school crossings during the school zone hours of 8:00–9:00 AM and 2:30–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Ensure the safety of children, parents, teachers and local motorists around the school premises.
- Maintain vigilance to potential hazards, provide timely alerts and instructions, and keep traffic under control.
- Work in both morning and afternoon shifts, providing a total of 20 hours of supervision each fortnight. Schedule & Compensation
- One hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon each school day.
- Contracted to provide 20 hours of supervision per fortnight.
- Hourly wage of $26.43, plus superannuation.
- Compensated for school holidays from Terms 1 to 3. Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old at appointment.
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, reference checks, police check and a health assessment.
- Reliability and ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills and alertness to potential dangers.
- Community‑minded and able to build relationships with students, parents, staff and motorists. Training & Equipment
