PICKER PACKER (Sunshine West)

CHEAPER BUY MILES is a rapid-growing grocery business fighting food waste every day and we need help! Due to our exponential growth, expanding store placements, and the urgent need to fight food waste and help save the planet. We are looking for driven warehouse workers who can support our warehouse with pick/packing orders fast, deliver orders to stores safely, and most importantly, have fun doing it. Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM / 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off Hourly Rates :
- Without forklift licence: From $32.31 per hour (weekdays), $45.24 per hour (Saturdays)
- With forklift licence: From $33.38 per hour (weekdays), $46.73 per hour (Saturdays) Applicants must be available to work every Saturday. Duties include:
- Picking and packing stock
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Preparing store orders using a stock tugger
- Deliver orders to our stores
- Performing inventory counts and maintaining accuracy on all records
- Shrink wrapping pallets
- Condensing stock
- Manual lifting of cartons
- Chiller and freezer work
- Maintain a safe workplace and following safety procedures
- Using iPads and other technology
- Other general warehouse tasks including cleaning, organizing the warehouse Other qualifications include:
- A valid forklift licence is essential.
- Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy or bulky items.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with common software.
