Security Officer Sunshine

Palmer Coolum Resort is looking for full‑time Licensed Security Officers to join our team. The successful candidate will work nights and weekends on a set roster, helping maintain and secure the facility through patrols, CCTV monitoring, and security reporting.

Responsibilities Monitor CCTV and conduct regular patrols of the Resort. Check and secure gates. Provide a security service in line with Palmer Coolum Resort SOPs and requirements to protect employees, property, and other assets. Complete shift/patrol reports as directed. Respond to emergencies, alarm events, and provide necessary support. Understand and apply WHS and emergency response management procedures. Resolve conflicts effectively. Potential prospect to move into other roles within the Security team as the Resort becomes operational.

Requirements Current and valid Security License. No criminal convictions. Ability to work independently, self‑aware, motivated, and as part of a team. Punctual and reliable. Proactive while maintaining discretion and confidentiality. Previous security setting experience and/or security awareness training. Current First Aid, CPR, and RSA certificate.
