**Company Description** “Hospitality is a work of Heart”** The Fragrance Group has a perfect opportunity for an experienced HR guru to join our amazing team based **Novotel Devonport**. The Portfolio consists of the Mövenpick Hotel Hobart | Mövenpick Hotel Melbourne on Spencer | ibis Styles Hobart | Novotel Devonport, and this role will provide support to all properties.
We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Advisor who is ready to make a meaningful impact. This is a fantastic chance to work across both strategic and operational HR initiatives, supporting a diverse workforce and partnering with leaders to drive meaningful change.

- Be a trusted partner to leaders and team members within the Portfolio, providing expert advice and guidance on people matters, whilst contributing to initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture team, ensuring smooth delivery of best HR practices and support to operational leaders
- Advise and coach leaders and staff on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Facilitate performance reviews
- Support culture-building initiatives, engagement programs, and organisational change
- Champion governance and compliance across all HR practices
- Contribute to workforce planning and talent strategies
- Assist in the constant improvement of HR procedures and management
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a HR Generalist role
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related fields
- Your positive energy is contagious
- You are approachable, with an open-door policy and a knack for listening
- Flexibility in workings hours, to be able to work with team members on various shifts
- Creative flair and enthusiasm for driving employee engagement initiatives
- Confidence and ability to work autonomously whilst collaborating with the P&C; and portfolio team remotely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of the Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA)
- A passion for people and creating a positive workplace culture
- Advanced communication and conflict resolution skills
