This role is integral to our project delivery and provides the opportunity to work on iconic and high-profile projects with one of Australia’s most respected builders. About the Role In this role, you will provide essential support to Project Managers and the Contracts team, ensuring projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule. Your work will include:
- Acting as the central point of contact for project administration and contract coordination.
- Assisting with project management plans, tenders, submissions, and procurement.
- Preparing and submitting monthly progress claims, tax invoices, variations, extensions of time, RFI’s, SI’s, PC’s, and subcontractor adjustments.
- Compiling, registering, and distributing project correspondence, drawings, manuals, and CHEOPS reports.
- Coordinating and attending project meetings, preparing minutes, and assisting with site office administration.
- Supporting compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements. What We’re Looking For We are seeking someone with:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in project administration or contract administration within the commercial construction industry.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and operations.
- Customer-focused, with the ability to foster strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and their representatives.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with sharp negotiation, attention to detail and relationship skills.
