About the Roles As a Site Manager, you will play a critical role in the planning, supervision, and delivery of construction projects. You will lead, mentor, and coordinate on-site teams, ensuring tasks are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate site teams, including subcontractors and trades, ensuring transparent allocation of roles and responsibilities.
- Monitor labour utilisation, productivity, and adherence to project programs.
- Manage procurement and use of materials, plant, and equipment with a focus on cost and quantity control.
- Identify, document, and gain approval for contract variations and manage project documentation.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
- Participate in Toolbox Talks, project meetings, and WHS consultations.
- Mentor and coach team members to achieve project objectives and professional growth.
- Ensure accurate and timely administration of project records, reports, and site inspections. What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements and construction best practices.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (Certificate III in Carpentry/Joinery, Work Health & Safety, Chief Warden, First Aid & CPR, etc.).
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and maintain high standards under pressure.
- Competence in cost control, scheduling, and construction administration.
