The role involves monitoring pupil progress, formulating the faculty improvement plan, leading the delivery of Geography, and serving as a high‑quality teaching and learning exemplar.

Develop and lead the Geography department, pushing for greater attainment

Flexibility over timetabling, with ample release time

Form Tutor with pastoral responsibilities

Full‑time, permanent position, starting September 2026

Location: Inner London, MPS/UPS + TLR 2C

Candidate Specification

UK QTS

Experience teaching in UK inner‑city schools beneficial

Proven success in raising attainment across the board

Keen interest in utilizing ICT

Experience embedding strategies for Assessment for Learning

Prior middle‑leadership experience (e.g. 2iC, KS Coordinator, or current HOD) desirable

Strong academic background desired
