Sustainability Advisor (Doncaster)

We are seeking a Sustainability Advisor to improve the quality and delivery of all social and environmental responsibility related reporting and to provide support for our Strategic Planning Department to deliver on AV's Social and Environmental Action Plan

This is a Full Time, Permanent position. While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.

**About the role**

Reporting to the Director Strategic Planning, responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

- Support development of the annual Social and Environmental Responsibility Action Plan.
- Coordinate overall AV social and environmental data collection and management systems; including data for the relevant social and environment databases.
- Prepare and coordinate AV's complex and professional social and environmental reporting, including annual reporting content requiring in-depth factual analytics, and the development of the AV Sustainability Report.
- Coordinate the annual sustainability improvement process cycle including related planning and follow up activity
- Assist the Director Strategic Planning to establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of social and environmental deliverables.
- Prepare and coordinate AV's complex and professional social and environmental reporting, including annual reporting content requiring in-depth factual analytics, and the development of the AV Sustainability Report.

**About you**

To be considered for this position you will possess a degree or relevant industry certification (preferably sustainability) with proven subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and relevant experience in a related discipline. Other requirements include:

- Project and change management certifications (desirable)
- Sound knowledge, skills and experience of social and environmental management systems and professional standards
- Experience in social impacts and outcomes measurement (desired)
- Sound experience in project management and change management methodologies
- Demonstrated experience developing and sustaining strong, effective working relationships and networks with all stakeholders and relevant external organisations, including staff at all levels of an organisation
