Role Purpose
The Stock Controller role is responsible for managing the operation and distribution of all parts providing efficient and effective store/warehouse servicing.
Key Accountabilities
/ Receipt and dispatch new and/or repairable stock items for the depot/s.
/ Conduct regular stock-takes and cyclic counts to maintain stock levels at an efficient level based on trends for the depot/s. Cyclic stock-takes to be completed on a weekly basis. Major stock-takes, including end of financial year, completed twice yearly or as directed.
/ Raise purchase orders as required, ensuring compliance to the purchasing policy at all times.
/ Liaise with internal/external suppliers as required on stock issue, escalating issues as required to your manager.
/ Maintain an overview of stock levels in the depot/s and analyse trends for stock efficiency.
/ Identify obsolete and surplus stock in the depot/s, and assist the Workshop Manager, with removal or sale as necessary. Control stock costs across the workshop.
/ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receipted and dispatched stock at the workshop to meet operational requirements. Provide weekly, monthly, and annual reports to the Manager, providing accurate data on time.
/ Manage warranty of parts to replace or recoup costs for depot/s, ensuring accurate records are kept, and paperwork is completed on time.
/ Provide advice and support to others in relation to stock/warehouse procedures, ordering and receiving.
/ Pick-up and deliver parts as required for effective running of the fleet operation.

**Requirements**: Qualifications / Education / Experience

/ Good computer literacy, including the ability to utilise integrated software systems (i.e., stock management).
/ Good planning and organising skills
- including the ability to perform under pressure, and meet deadlines
