As a Grounds and Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our community site. This includes managing the Grounds & Maintenance team, ensuring high standards of landscaping and maintenance, and addressing any site-related repairs. You will work closely with management to stay within budget while maintaining quality standards and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. You'll also lead by example, motivating your team and providing regular feedback to help them reach their potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and maintain all public open spaces and landscaped areas.
- Ensure high-quality completion of maintenance tasks and general repairs.
- Manage garden beds, irrigation systems, mowing, and edging.
- Handle pest control, rubbish collection, and pool maintenance.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and log all tasks.
- Collaborate with the site Manager on budget preparation and cost-effective purchasing.
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to meet company and community goals.
- Ensure compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements and conduct regular audits.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in building and grounds maintenance, ideally in a community setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with smart technology for site management.
- White Card and "C" class driver’s license (site dependent) required.
- Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, gardening, and using tools/equipment.
