About the role

This is a full time Receptionist and Data Entry role with Torres Strait Tours Pty Limited, located on Thursday Island, Queensland. You will be the first point of contact for our company, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our operations.

What you'll be doing Handling clients and customers in a friendly and professional manner Answering and directing telephone inquiries Performing data entry and other administrative tasks to support the business Maintaining detailed records and filing systems Providing general administrative support to the wider team as required

What we're looking for Previous experience in a similar receptionist or customer service role, preferably within the tourism or hospitality industry Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively Proficient in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach A genuine interest in the Torres Strait region and its culture
