- Responsible for managing the planning and executing HR activities, programs and initiatives
- creating a space for associates to gather and belong
- Manage the onboarding of new associates and review all employment contracts
- Be a part of something bigger by managing and facilitating the new associate's programs whilst liaising with other key departments leaders
- Interview managerial candidates whilst supporting other departments throughout the recruitment process
- Manage all areas of recruitment whilst following talent acquisition requirements
- Strategically manage all aspects of the employee life cycle in collaboration with the Human Resources Team – inviting, welcoming and connecting with each associate
- Plan, organize and execute Take Care events and activities, creating a caring community that empowers associates to grow and reach their full potential.
- Strategically create the hotel’s talent acquisition strategy, networking with local organizations and attending external recruitment fairs
- Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position
- Ensure you and the team maintain employee files containing required employment paperwork and are secured for the required length of time, focusing on attention to detail
- Manage Workers Compensation claims to ensure appropriate employee care and manage costs About You
- Relevant experience in a similar managerial role
- Strong knowledge in employment law
