Salary and Advantages Salary range $79,125
- $86,246 per annum. Generous Remote Locality Allowances after 12 months. Location Based on Thursday Island. Role Overview The Marine Assets & Logistics Officer is an operational support role within the LSMU Ranger Program, combining three core functions: hands‑on trade and technical support to the workshop and ranger workforce; coordination and administrative support to vessel masters across the TSRA fleet; and logistics and stores management across Thursday Island and outer island communities. Responsibilities The Marine Assets & Logistics Officer fills this gap – providing practical technical support and skills transfer that keeps equipment serviceable and rangers capable. The role is a coordinating and enabling function, ensuring masters have what they need to operate and maintain their vessels effectively.
