FIFO Maintenance Plumber – Far North QLD (NPA) Start ASAP | Flights, Accommodation & Meals Provided ZK Construction Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Plumber to join our remote works team across the Northern Peninsula Area, Far North Queensland. This FIFO position supports ongoing community infrastructure and maintenance programs, with full travel and living expenses covered. You’ll be working across housing, facilities, and essential service upgrades in remote communities with a tight, reliable crew and consistent workflow. Position Overview
- Immediate mobilisation to long-term remote projects
- FIFO from Cairns, Brisbane, Townsville and major east coast hubs
- All flights, accommodation and meals organised and paid
- Hourly rate: $50–$70 based on experience
- Consistent roster with ongoing pipeline of work
- Opportunity to progress into Leading Hand or supervisory roles
- Supportive, skilled team delivering essential works What You’ll Be Doing
- General plumbing maintenance and fault finding
- Upgrades, refits and infrastructure works
- Installations and repairs across community housing and facilities
- Working independently and within a small team
- Using basic digital systems for job tracking and reporting What We’re Looking For
- Cert III in Plumbing (or higher)
- QBCC licence not essential
- Construction White Card
- Solid maintenance or project plumbing background
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work remote
