Qualified Senior Accountant (Drouin)

RGM Financial Group provides financial services in both Accounting and Financial Planning with three offices across Gippsland. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic applicant to join our team in the role of a Qualified Accountant to work at our Drouin office. You will be responsible for tax compliance work, preparation of BAS's, financial statements, income tax returns and client interaction. You will be given the responsibility to manage a number of clients that range from individuals and small to medium businesses operating in a diverse range of industries. About you
- Degree qualified
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CA qualified or enrolled
- At least 3 years of public practice experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables), Word, and tax preparation software
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation including individual tax returns, BAS preparation, and GST compliance
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based accounting software
- Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with Xero accounting software is required
- Positive work ethic and possess excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
