Building Designer / Architect (Contract, 4–5 Days) Complete Home | Drummoyne, Sydney Immediate Start About Complete Home Complete Home is a female-led, design-driven studio based in Drummoyne, specialising in bespoke residential interiors and building design. Our work spans alterations and additions, high-end new builds, and dual-occupancy developments across Sydney, interstate, and select international locations. We are known for refined design, rigorous documentation, and a highly considered client experience. The Role We are seeking an experienced Building Designer or Architect with a minimum of five years’ local experience to support the creative and technical delivery of our residential projects. This role requires strong design intuition, technical rigour, and confidence working across CDC, DA and CC stages within a collaborative studio environment. This is a contract role (4–5 days per week) with the potential for long-term or full-time engagement. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine design concepts, floor plans and façades in line with project briefs and client objectives
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive CDC, DA and CC documentation using Revit (exclusive platform)
- Interpret and apply DCP, SEPP and planning controls with confidence
- Coordinate with consultants, councils and internal team members to uphold design intent and compliance
- Resolve technical and construction-based challenges with considered design solutions
- Maintain organised, accurate project documentation across all stages
- Uphold quality control standards across all drawing outputs and deliverables About You
- Minimum 5 years’ local experience in building design or architectural drafting
- Strong creative capability in spatial planning and façade composition
- Advanced proficiency in Revit
- Solid understanding of NCC, BCA, LMR and residential construction methodologies
- High attention to detail and commitment to documentation quality
- Clear, qualified communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Confidence engaging directly with clients and/or developers
- Current driver’s licence and vehicle
