Security Officer (Dubbo)

About the role Western Plains Security & Network is seeking experienced Security Officers to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Dubbo, NSW, this role will involve providing security services to our valued clients across the region. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through vigilant monitoring, access control and emergency response. What you'll be doing
- Conducting regular patrols and monitoring security systems to identify and respond to any potential threats or incidents
- Controlling access to client sites and facilities, including checking identification and escorting visitors as required
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients, visitors and the general public
- Responding promptly and professionally to emergency situations, in line with established protocols
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of activities, incidents and observations
- Adhering to all relevant health, safety and security policies and procedures What we're looking for
- Current Security Guard Licence (NSW) or ability to obtain one
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- A commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining the safety and security of our clients
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
