This position plays a critical role in protecting Defence personnel, assets, and infrastructure through proactive patrols, access management, and strong on
- site presence.You’ll operate in a complex and sensitive setting where professionalism, discretion, and situational awareness are essential. - required for Defence security clearance eligibility A current Security License valid in NSW* Baseline Defence Clearance or must be willing to obtain a Baseline Clearance* Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with Defence personnel and site stakeholders* The ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions* A strong sense of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail**Duties: Access Control
- Monitoring entry and exit points to ensure only authorised personnel are permitted on site. Foot Patrols
- Conducting regular patrols to maintain situational awareness and deter potential threats. Stakeholder Liaison
- Building rapport with Defence personnel, contractors, and visitors while delivering a strong security presence. Incident Response
- Reacting promptly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious behaviour. Compliance Monitoring
- Ensuring site protocols and Defence security procedures are always followed. Reporting & Documentation
