Role Description
This full-time, on-site role based in Woolwich, NSW, involves managing and driving sales, for wedding and private functions, accross the venue portfolio.
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for converting enquiries within the event sales pipeline, from initial contact to proposal and confirmation, while building robust client relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire sales journey.
Key Responsibilities
Convert and manage inbound events enquiries received via our CRM, email and phone calls, for weddings and social events.
Develop tailored proposals and packages to suit client needs and budgets.
Host site inspections and venue tours with prospective clients.
Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, wedding planners, suppliers and industry partners.
Handle all client follow up for prospective bookings, negotiating as required to secure the event.
Provide a thorough event handover to the event coordination team to ensure seamless client transition and successful event delivery.
Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar sales role within the hospitality or tourism industry
Proven ability in sales and developing client relationships to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
Proficient in using event management software
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
Adaptable and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proficiency with CRM or venue booking systems
