Medical Receptionist New South Wales

Our clinic in Newtown is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team.

We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.

The role is a12 monthfull time contractworking 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, between8:30am – 10:00pm.

With possible weekends down the track.

Role Overview

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Responsibilities

Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.

Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.

Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.

Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.

Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

Qualifications

Explicit verbal and written communication skills.

Solid organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.

A strong background in customer service.
