About the role
A rare and exciting opportunity exists for a Social Worker Level 1/2 to join an established team of six skilled Social Workers at Dubbo Health Service and to extend practice across all areas of Social Work.
The role of a Social Worker in the hospital setting is unique and provides an amazing prospect to experience all facets of Social Work.
Our Social Workers attend and support various wards/units within the hospital, undertake psychosocial assessments and provide a range of therapeutic interventions.
The successful applicant will be provided with an ‘orientation buddy’, have access to professional development and be supported to engage in regular and meaningful clinical supervision.
