The Manors of Mosman Our well‑established retirement village is set within thoughtfully maintained gardens in Sydney’s harbourside north, less than 10 kilometres from the CBD. It offers easy access to local shops, dining, cinema and essential services. The setting is calm, private and fosters a strong sense of pride shared across the community. Events & Activities Coordinator This is a permanent Full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Your Impact
- Coordinate and deliver fun, inclusive and exciting events to residents on a regular schedule (e.g., themed dinner nights, community barbecues, guest speakers, morning teas and more)
- Deliver a holistic activities program that promotes independence, learning new hobbies and enabling social connections
- Create schedules for all new events and distribute newsletters highlighting upcoming events
- Be the welcoming face to all new residents in the community, ensuring they are engaged and supported in their transition to our community
- Complete general ad‑hoc duties including (but not limited to): conducting feedback surveys, attending staff meetings, participating in events and general administrative tasks What you’ll bring
- A genuine interest in improving the lives of seniors
- Previous experience in coordinating programmes, events or activities
- Creativity – we want someone to create FUN events
- Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (highly desired)
- Current Police Check clearance (required, but we can complete for you)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (required or willing to obtain prior to commencement) What we offer
- $37.35 /hr (equivalent to $73,803 per annum) + superannuation + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances
