Based in New South Wales, we proudly operate five premier venues: Le Montage (Lilyfield), Curzon Hall (Ryde), Oatlands House (Oatlands), The Villa Navarra (Southern Highlands), and Conca D’Oro (Riverwood), along with a collection of bars and cafés. Position Overview We are currently seeking Casual Waiters to support our busy events and functions team across all Navarra venues in Sydney. Most events are held on weekends, so flexibility is required, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with event demands. Responsibilities
- Work primarily on weekends, evenings, and public holidays in line with event demands. Qualifications
- Professional waiter experience in fine dining or catering environments.
- Menu knowledge: understanding ingredients, cooking methods, allergens, wine pairings, and specials.
- Wine and beverage service: opening wine correctly, recommending pairings, serving champagne or cocktails professionally.
- Table service techniques: silver service, tray carrying, synchronized serving, crumb clearing, plate placement, and napkin etiquette.
- Order accuracy: taking complex orders precisely and communicating clearly with the kitchen.
- Knowledge of dining sequence: understanding the flow of appetizers, mains, desserts, and beverage timing. Eligibility
