Enterprise Delivery Lead (New South Wales)

Defiant Digital is a rapid-growing creative & performance marketing agency based in Sydney. We work on complex, multi-market creative engagements with major enterprise brands, and we have a clear gap in our team: someone to own the space between what our creative and strategy team produces and what the client receives. This is not a creative role. You will not be writing copy, generating ideas, or sitting in pitch meetings. What you will be doing is protecting the work, delivering it on time, and keeping clients feeling completely held throughout. You are the operating layer that makes everything function. Without someone in this seat, everything else gets stuck. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own day-to-day client communication across enterprise-level engagements: status updates, WIPs, approvals, and escalations
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resourcing across multiple concurrent projects ($20K to $500K+)
- Anticipate problems before they surface and resolve them before they become anyone else's concern
- Keep all project activity documented and up to date so the team always knows where things stand
- Handle difficult client conversations calmly and diplomatically, leaving clients feeling taken care of
- Scope and manage change orders as requirements shift mid-engagement
- Free up the internal creative and strategy team to do their best work, uninterrupted ABOUT YOU
- 7+ years in account management, project management, or delivery at a creative agency — this is a non-negotiable
- You're the person a client rapid-fires questions at and gets back: "already handled all of that"
- Unflappable under pressure. A diplomat, not a hardballer
- High initiative — you see problems coming and resolve them before anyone notices
- Direct and confident communicator. You can say hard things to clients without damaging the relationship
- A background in business, finance, or legal is a genuine advantage in this role
- Based in Sydney NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, pharma, finance) where compliance is part of the workflow
- Familiarity with multi-market or global campaign delivery
